The Seasons:
Our season starts in May with the spring striper run across Long Island’s NorthShore. Sailing for Port Jefferson or Stony Brook, we’ll stalk the back harbors and drag the rips for striped bass, weakfish and bluefish.

Superfly Charters is completely mobile, ready to launch a light tackle commando raid if a hot bite turns up elsewhere on Long Island. This enables us to change tactics to account for last minute weather changes, affording the most comfortable and productive trip possible.

As the water heats up in the summer, shorter early morning or evening charters prove most productive.

While the fishing remains strong all year, Montauk’s fabled Fall Run is the stuff of legend.

Acres of fish busting bait and fierce competition can make for quite a circus on the water. Whether you want to fish in the eye of the hurricane, or find a quieter corner to enjoy this Light Tackle Mecca, Superfly Charters is up to the challenge.
